Coaching & Training: Options 4 Training

The construction industry continues to provide us with a challenging and changing working environment. We also face the real life issues arising out of the scarcity of technical and professional resources. Options 4 Coaching and Training provides solutions for developing personnel and project teams. We are very aware that Coaching is required to ensure the delegate can implement and apply the knowledge, whilst Training is usually used for the transfer of knowledge and information.

  • Targeted Coaching for specific issues or projects.
  • Delivered by a facilitator to either an individual or a small group (up to around 5 delegates).
  • Surgery Coaching is usually delivered with no or very little preparation by the Coach, however, real life issues are resolved and implemented at the time.
  • The Surgery will ordinarily range from 2 to 8 hours dependent on the Client’s requirements and it ensures the delegates are coached at a detailed level.

  • Drafting Letters.
  • Contractual Advice.
  • Preparing Variations or Compensation Events.
  • Preparing or Amending Programmes.
  • Impacting Delays and Variations or Compensation Events into Programmes.
  • Clarification of Contractual Mechanisms.
  • Targeted at providing a general understanding on a relatively broad subject.
  • Delivered by 1 or 2 facilitators to a maximum audience of 25 delegates.
  • Formal Seminars are delivered with PowerPoint slides and other technical handouts.
  • The Seminar will usually range from 0.5 days to 2 full days dependent on the Client’s requirements and the extent of the subject matter.
  • Commercial Awareness Training.
  • JCT 2011 and 2016 Traditional and Design & Build Forms of Contract.
  • NEC3/4 Options A and C Forms of Contract.
  • Delay Analysis Techniques.
  • FIDIC Standard Forms of Contract.
  • Targeted at key business critical technical areas with Coaching to provide an intermediate level of technical competence.
  • Delivered by 2 facilitators to a maximum audience of 25 delegates split into sub-teams of 3 to 5 delegates.
  • A mixture of PowerPoint slides covering the general understanding and Case Study Workshops is a very effective means for delivery.
  • Workshop Coaching will ordinarily range from a single day to 2 days dependent on the extent and depth of the technical content.
  • Commercial Awareness Training.
  • JCT 2011 and 2016 Traditional and Design & Build Forms of Contract.
  • NEC3/4 Options A and C Forms of Contract.
  • Delay Analysis Techniques.
  • Targeted at key business critical technical areas with Coaching to provide a high level of technical competence.
  • Delivered by 2 facilitators to a maximum audience of 25 delegates split into sub-teams of 3 to 5 delegates.
  • The detailed Case Studies are an effective means to meet our Client’s precise business requirements supported with a few selected PowerPoint slides and handouts.
  • Case Study Coaching will ordinarily range from a single day to 2 days dependent on the extent and depth of the technical content.
  • Commercial Awareness Training.
